U16 Māori Battalion Italy Tour – September 2027

The U16 Māori Battalion Italy Tour will provide rangatahi with a unique opportunity to experience international rugby while learning about the history and legacy of the 28th Māori Battalion in Italy.

The tour is open to players (Male and Female) who turn 16 years of age or younger during 2027. Through rugby, culture and shared experiences, the team will honour those who served while building lifelong friendships and connections with the people and communities of Italy.

The total tour cost is currently estimated at approximately NZD $9,000 per player. This is an indicative cost only and remains subject to change due to external factors such as international airfares, accommodation, exchange rates and other tour-related costs.

The estimated tour cost is expected to include insurance, return international flights, accommodation, standard meals and the Mana Rugby team uniform.

Further information regarding trials, confirmed tour dates, payment arrangements and the full tour itinerary will be provided as planning progresses.
