Submission & Acknowledgement Agreement

This form is intended to provide shared clarity and mutual understanding for everyone contributing to Crowned Magazine. Whether you are submitting an article, advertisement, announcement, or other materials, these guidelines help us steward this publication with integrity, excellence, and grace while advancing Crowned's mission to equip Christian women in the marketplace to lead in their God-given power.

Submission & Anthology Requirements:

Crowned Magazine Editorial Guidelines

By submitting an article, advertisement, announcement, photograph, artwork, or other materials (“Submission”) for consideration in Crowned Magazine, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and agree to the following:

1. Submission

I voluntarily submit my materials for consideration in Crowned Magazine and acknowledge that all submissions must comply with the current Crowned Magazine Editorial & Submission Guidelines.

I understand that submission does not guarantee publication.

2. Original Work & Permissions

I affirm that:

·      My submission is my original work or that I have obtained all necessary permissions to submit and publish the content.

·      I have the legal authority to grant permission for publication.

·      Any editorial or AI assistance used was supportive in nature and does not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others.

3. Author Information

If submitting an article, I understand that I am also expected to provide:

·      A professional headshot;

·      A brief professional biography (2–3 sentences); and

·      My current title and organization, if applicable.

I authorize Crowned Christian Women Executive to publish and edit this information for consistency with the magazine’s editorial style.

4. Non-Exclusive Publishing License

I retain ownership of my original work.

By submitting my materials, I grant Crowned Christian Women

Executive a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to:

·      publish my submission in print and digital editions of Crowned Magazine;

·      edit my submission for grammar, clarity, formatting, style, and length while preserving the meaning and integrity of the original work;

·      archive current and future issues of the magazine;

·      reproduce my submission in future Crowned-affiliated magazines, publications, compilations, or promotional materials;

·      translate accepted submissions into other languages for publication in Crowned-affiliated publications while preserving the meaning, message, and integrity of the original work; and

·      use my article title, excerpts, headshot, biography, images, and contributor information to promote Crowned Magazine, Crowned Christian Women Executive, and related publications.

Because these rights are non-exclusive, I remain free to publish or reuse my work elsewhere.

5. Editorial Review

All submissions are subject to editorial review.

The Editor-in-Chief and Editorial Team will evaluate submissions based on:

·      alignment with the mission of Crowned;

·      consistency with the GISS framework;

·      biblical integrity;

·      editorial quality;

·      available publication space; and

·      the overall theme and needs of each issue.

6. Editorial Rights

I understand that the Editor-in-Chief has final authority regarding:

·      acceptance or decline of submissions;

·      editing for grammar, clarity, formatting, style, and length;

·      article titles and headings;

·      image selection and placement;

·      issue placement and publication schedule; and

·      the overall design and presentation of the magazine.

Publication in a particular issue is not guaranteed.

7. Content Standards

I understand that submissions should:

·      reflect Christian leadership and biblical values;

·      align with the mission and GISS framework of Crowned;

·      provide encouragement, education, leadership insight, testimony, or practical value to readers;

·      avoid defamatory, offensive, or unlawful content; and

·      respect the intellectual property rights of others.

Advertisements and promotional content must also align with Crowned’s mission and editorial standards.

8. Images & Promotional Materials

If I submit photographs, logos, graphics, artwork, or other visual materials, I confirm that I own them or have obtained permission to authorize their publication.

I grant Crowned Christian Women Executive permission to publish, edit, resize, and use these materials in Crowned Magazine and in promotional materials related to the magazine, Crowned Christian Women Executive, and affiliated publications.

9. No Compensation

Unless otherwise agreed to in writing, publication in Crowned Magazine is voluntary.

Contributors understand that publication does not include royalties, commissions, compensation, or future profit participation.

10. Right to Decline

Crowned Christian Women Executive reserves the right to decline any submission that does not meet its editorial standards or that conflicts with its mission, Statement of Faith, GISS framework, or applicable laws.

11. Submission Investment

Current Crowned Members and Advisors may submit content in accordance with the benefits included in their membership or advisory status.

Individuals who are not current Members or Advisors are required to make the applicable submission investment at the time of submission. This investment supports Crowned's mission and helps offset the editorial, design, production, and publication costs associated with Crowned Magazine.

If a paid submission is not accepted for publication due to editorial review, the submission investment will be refunded, less applicable payment processing fees (typically approximately 5%), which are non-refundable.

12. Contributor Attestation

By submitting my materials, I certify that:

·      I have read and understand the Crowned Magazine Editorial & Submission Guidelines.

·      I have read and agree to this Crowned Magazine Submission Agreement.

·      All information I have

provided is true and accurate to the best of my knowledge.

·      I voluntarily grant the permissions described above.

I understand that submission of my materials constitutes my electronic acceptance of this agreement.

By submitting this form, I affirm that I am the author named above and that I personally completed this submission.
