Under 19s European Tour Programme
(2026–2027)
The Mana Rugby Under 19s Programme is a high-performance and development-focused opportunity for players selected in 2026, culminating in an international tour to Europe in January 2027.
The programme is designed to support young athletes both on and off the field, combining rugby development, cultural connection, and personal growth within a safe, structured environment.
Cultural Camp – Tūāpapa Mana
(2 nights – Rotorua, New Zealand - Aotearoa based players. 2 nights - Wollongong, Australia - Australian based players)
The programme begins with a 2-night cultural camp in Rotorua, Tūāpapa Mana, meaning “the foundation of strength and identity.”
This camp provides players with:
A grounding in kaupapa and values
Cultural connection and whakawhanaungatanga
Team bonding and rugby preparation
Clear expectations around behaviour, safety, and responsibility
Physical and mental preparation for international travel
All players in Aotearoa are required to assemble in Rotorua and All players in Australia are required to assemble in Wollongong for these camps.
European Tour – January 2027
The European tour will include:
Competitive rugby fixtures
Training sessions and recovery
Cultural and educational experiences
Team travel, accommodation, meals, and supervision
Ongoing welfare and safeguarding support
Full tour itinerary and match details will be provided closer to departure.
Programme Cost
Total Cost: $8,000 per player (pending sponsorship)
The programme fee is all-inclusive, covering:
Mana Rugby uniform package
Insurance
Auckland cultural camp (accommodation, meals, activities)
European tour costs (accommodation, meals, transport, activities)
Coaching, management, and support staff
Safeguarding, welfare, and administration
Not included:
Important Notes
Players must be available to attend the 2 x camps
Selection into the programme is subject to eligibility, commitment, and adherence to Mana Rugby values and policies
