Some tattoos belong to a past version of you, but we can change that!
Tattoo makeovers can rework, refine, or transform existing tattoos so they finally feel aligned with who you are now.
This isn’t about shame or regret. Makeovers are about growth, clarity, and choosing better for yourself.
What Is a Tattoo Makeover?
A tattoo makeover can include:
Redesigning an existing tattoo
Improving flow, placement, or scale
Reworking color, contrast, or linework
Integrating old tattoos into a stronger overall composition
Transforming a piece that never quite felt “right”
Sometimes that means subtle refinement. Sometimes it means a full reimagining. Every project is approached with intention and respect for what already exists.
My Approach
Tattoo makeovers require more than technical skill. For these projects, I take a collaborative, in-depth approach. We’ll talk through some or all of the following:
What isn’t working about your current tattoo
What you want to feel when you look at it
Body flow, placement, and longevity
Color temperature, mood, and visual weight
This is thoughtful, custom work. Not a quick fix.
Who Tattoo Makeovers Are For
Tattoo makeovers are a good fit if you:
Feel disconnected from an existing tattoo
Want to elevate or update older work
Care about quality, cohesion, and longevity
Are ready to invest in work that truly fits you
A tattoo makeover may not be the right fit if you’re looking for:
Important Things to Know
Tattoo makeovers are custom projects and require an email /DM consultation. You can choose an in-person consultation also.
Not every tattoo is a good candidate for a makeover and photos are required for review.
Design direction and final execution are guided by what will work best on the body.
These projects are typically booked in longer sessions as most will require custom drawing directly on the body before tattooing starts.
How to Get Started
If this resonates, the next step is simple:
Fill out the tattoo makeover inquiry form below. Please include:
Clear photos of the existing tattoo(s) taken straight on
Placement and approximate size
What you like and don’t like about the current work
Any ideas or feelings you want the new version to carry
Once reviewed, I’ll reach out if the project is a good fit so we can move forward together. Typically I send response emails on Mondays and Thursdays.
