Extravaganza Tango Weekend Policies

Waiver and Release

I am aware that the event will be held in person and, on behalf of myself, my heirs, successors, assigns, and personal representatives, I agree to hold the members of the Extravaganza Tango Marathon and staff (together referred to as "Organizer") harmless and agree to discharge, release, or waive any claim of liability or damages for any injury, physical or emotional, that I might suffer as a result of my participating in the Extravaganza Tango Marathon. This waiver specifically includes but is not limited to the remote possibility that I may contract COVID-19 or any variant of COVID-19 or any other illness while participating at the event, or other injuries related to this event whether specifically dance related or otherwise. Should any claim be brought by me against the organizer for liability and/or damages resulting from my participation in this event, I will be responsible for paying the organizer's reasonable attorney fees and cost for having to defend against such action.

Tickets sales are limited due to fire regulations and dance role balance.

Cancellation/Refund Policy/Transfers

-A refund will be available to anyone who cancel by March 2nd at 11:59pm (less 5% cancellation fee).

-A refund will be available to anyone who cancel from March 3rd - April 1st at 11:59pm (less 50% cancellation fee).

-No refunds will be issued on or after April 2nd.

Event Changes

The organizer reserves the right to modify the event schedule, artists, or venue, or to cancel the event due to reasons of 'Force Majeure', including but not limited to: acts of God, natural disaster, pandemics, government-mandated closures, strikes, or other events beyond the organizers' reasonable control. In the event of cancellation by the organizer, information regarding pass options such as deferral or refund (less organizational expenses) will be communicated to all registered participants via email.

Ticket/Passes Transfer

Tickets or passes are transferable. Participants may transfer a pass/ticket to another dancer with the same role as the original ticket holder in order to maintain gender balance. For any changes to be valid, recipient must have a confirmation email from the organizers. An administrative fee may apply.
