Complete this form to apply for free NAVRS (North America Virtual Recorder Society) student membership. (If you are under 18 years of age, there is a section for your parent or guardian to complete.) Once your application is submitted and reviewed, we will email you within one week. If your application is approved, you will receive instructions for registering for NAVRS events for free. Student membership for 2026 is valid from the date joined and expires on December 31, 2026. Student members joining on or after November 1, 2025, receive student membership benefits for 2025 and 2026. Please contact studentmembership@navrs.org with questions about this application.

Dear parent/guardian,

As a member of NAVRS (North American Virtual Recorder Society), your child will participate in online Zoom meetings to play music on their recorders or other musical instruments. NAVRS events include optional group interactions using breakout rooms for socializing and discussing topics related to the recorder. These meetings are designed to enhance learning and creativity in a virtual environment.

By signing below, you give permission for your child to participate in NAVRS online events, and you understand and accept that:

NAVRS Zoom meetings are recorded, and the recordings are shared with registered participants for further home practice and review for 30 days after the meeting. (The recordings cannot be downloaded by participants.)
Participants are not required to turn on their cameras, but if a participant's camera is on, the participant's image may appear in the recording.
The participant's Zoom user name will be visible to other participants.
