2026 Flicky Stick Pole Vault Pole Rental Agreement (Schools & Universities)

For schools and universities paying by invoice or purchase order only.

All pole rentals, returns, and swaps must be conducted during normal hours of operation at the Flicky Stick Pole Vault facility unless otherwise arranged with a member of the Flicky Stick Pole Vault staff. A pole rental agreement is required for all rentals.

Pole Rental Policies

Pole Rental Policy

Flicky Stick Pole Vault offers 90-day pole rentals to schools and universities. All pole rentals are handled during normal hours of operation at the Flicky Stick Pole Vault facility unless otherwise arranged with a member of the FSPV staff. Poles are available to rent on a first-come-first-serve basis. A pole rental agreement and safety waiver are required for rental, as well as an online member account.

All pole rentals will be billed to the participating school or university. Payment is due at the time of pick-up. Poles are due back to FSPV immediately at the end of the rental period.

Pole Return Policy

All pole returns are handled during normal hours of operation at the Flicky Stick Pole Vault facility. Pole rentals are due back 90 days from the day of rental for a 90-day pole rental. If the due date of the rental falls on a day outside of normal hours of operation, arrangements must be made with a member of the Flicky Stick Pole Vault staff to return the pole outside of normal hours of operation.

Pick-Up & Drop-Off Policy

Pole rentals must be picked up and dropped off at the Flicky Stick Pole Vault facility during normal hours of operation unless otherwise arranged with a member of the Flicky Stick Pole Vault staff.

HOURS OF OPERATION:

Sundays 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM

Tuesdays 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM

Thursdays 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM

Additional fees will apply for any poles or equipment dropped off outside the facility and left unattended. Should the pole be lost/stolen due to improper drop-off outside the facility, the full replacement cost plus shipping costs will be billed to the participating school or university.

Pole Swap Policy

All pole swaps are handled during normal hours of operation at the Flicky Stick Pole Vault facility unless otherwise arranged with a member of the FSPV staff. Poles of the same length range can be swapped as needed during the rental period. Should a renter like to swap their pole rental for a pole of a different length range, additional charges will apply.

For example: Any pole within the 10' to 12' range can be swapped for another pole in the 10' to 12' range. However, a pole in the 10' to 12' range swapped for a pole in the 12'1" to 13'11" range would incur an additional charge for the difference in rental cost between the two poles.

Late Fee Policy

A late fee of $35/week per pole will be billed to the participating school or university for all poles returned past their due date. If a pole is not returned within 30 days of the due date, the full replacement cost of the pole including shipping will be billed to the participating school or university. Should the participating school or university fail to provide payment within an additional 30 days, Flicky Stick Pole Vault shall seek to enforce all of its available rights under applicable law to collect the full amount owed.

Damage & Negligence Policy

All poles will be inspected upon return. Any damage to the pole/equipment will result in a damage fee of $75.00 up to the full replacement cost of the pole/equipment. If a pole is returned broken, the full replacement cost of the pole including shipping will be billed to the participating school or university.

Additional fees will apply for any pole/equipment dropped off outside the facility and left unattended. Should the pole be lost/stolen due to improper drop-off outside the facility, the full replacement cost plus shipping costs will be billed to the participating school or university. Should a pole be returned damaged or broken due to negligence, a minimum damage fee of $75.00 up to the full replacement cost of the pole including shipping will be billed to the participating school or university.

Authorization

I acknowledge the above policies and authorize Flicky Stick Pole Vault to bill these amounts (late fees, and/or damage and/or replacement costs) to the school/university provided herein should these circumstances occur. I agree to pay these charges in accordance with the pole rental policies upheld by Flicky Stick Pole Vault.

Pole Care Instructions

Please review the following pole care instructions, and indicate acknowledgement by checking the box below.

• NEVER place pole(s) on the ground unless properly stored inside a sturdy and secure pole bag

• NEVER toss or throw pole(s) in a forceful or aggressive manner

• NEVER step on pole(s) or place heavy/destructive items on top of pole(s)

• NEVER hit or strike pole(s) with or against other item(s)

• NEVER pull down on pole(s) in a forceful or aggressive manner

• NEVER allow another individual or organization to use or transport your pole(s)

• ALWAYS transport pole(s) safely and securely with proper equipment

• ALWAYS store pole(s) indoors or inside a sturdy and secure pole bag while not in use

• ALWAYS look after pole(s) at practice and/or meets especially when traveling

• ALWAYS know the whereabouts of the pole(s) during your rental

Safety Information

Please review the following safety information, and indicate acknowledgement by checking the box below.

Pole vaulting involves risk of serious injury, including death, caused by hazards inherent in the sport. Participation in the sport of pole vaulting, no matter what type of equipment an athlete is using or the event or program that an athlete has chosen to participate in, is a voluntary act on the part of the participant and where applicable the participant’s coaches and/or school or university.

Only allow your students/athletes to participate in the sport of pole vaulting if he/she:

• Appreciates the risks involved in the sport;

• Knows his/her own capabilities and limitations regarding the sport of pole vaulting;

• Is capable of exercising common sense

Equipment Rental & Release of Liability and Waiver of Claims

Please review the following information and indicate acknowledgement by signing below.

I accept for use the equipment rented to the school/university provided herein by Flicky Stick Pole Vault and accept full responsibility for its care while it is in the possession of the school/university and participating athletes. I will not allow anyone not a party to this agreement to use the equipment, and will indemnify Flicky Stick Pole Vault, against any claims that arise from any equipment use by a non-party to this agreement. The school/university will be responsible for the replacement, at full retail value, of any equipment which is not returned, and will be responsible for the costs of repairing or replacing any damaged equipment, other than damage caused by normal wear and tear.

INSPECTION OF POLES: The school/university agrees to examine pole(s) for damage (e.g., cracks or chipping) or unsafe condition before renting or using such pole. I understand that Flicky Stick Pole Vault cannot inspect and monitor the condition of poles once they are in the possession of the school/university. Further, the school/university agrees that after said pole(s) have been inspected, found satisfactory, and been taken possession of by the school/university, Flicky Stick Pole Vault bears no responsibility for its condition or any resulting injuries or harm if the pole is subsequently used when it is damaged or unsafe.

The school/university hereby agrees to the fullest extent permitted by law, as follows:

TO WAIVE ALL CLAIMS the school/university has or may have against Flicky Stick Pole Vault, and all distributors of the equipment caused by the use of the equipment and/or the inherent risks of the sport of pole vaulting;

TO ASSUME ALL RISKS INHERENT IN POLE VAULTING;

TO RELEASE Flicky Stick Pole Vault and all distributors of the Equipment from all liability for any loss, damage, injury or expense the school/university and participating athletes may suffer, caused by the use of the equipment and/or the inherent risks of the sport of pole vaulting;

TO INDEMNIFY and hold harmless Flicky Stick Pole Vault, all distributors of the equipment for any loss or damage including any that results from claims or lawsuits for personal injury, death, or property loss and damage arising from any use of the equipment.

The school/university FURTHER AGREES to submit all claims against Flicky Stick Pole Vault and all distributors of the rental equipment used by the school/university to arbitration.

Authorization

On behalf of the school/university, I have read and understand this agreement in its entirety and I am aware that by signing this agreement, the school/university may be waiving certain legal rights, including the right to sue.
